I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I’m sure there were very happy boys and girls on Sunday morning to see the light scattering of snow on the ground! Hopefully you all had a chance to get outside and enjoy some fun in the snow!
At the start of this new week, it’s a good time to reflect and look at how things are going with our distance learning. If there anything that is working well at home, please let me know so I can try to include more of it and thank you to all the mammy’s and daddy’s for the great feedback last week.
Also, if there are any areas that you are finding challenging, drop me a line and we can try to find a solution.
It was so lovely to see the brilliant work that everyone is doing at home and some very smiley children in the pictures and videos too. Thank you!
Again, please feel free to send on your suggestions and pictures to email@example.com
Please, find attached the link below for this weeks suggested activities.
Many thanks for great efforts at home.
Ms. O’ Donnell

Hi boys and girls,
I hope you’re keeping safe and well. I am missing you all and I’m really looking forward to when we can be back in our classroom safely again! 🙂
It was lovely to talk to your mammy’s and daddy’s last week and I even got to say hello to some of you. It was great to hear how you are all working so hard and most importantly behaving so well at home and helping your parents.
I look forward to our check in again this week.
Thank you to the parents who shared their work on my email last week. It was lovely to see the great work that is being completed. Parents can continue to send pictures of work to my email address at firstname.lastname@example.org
I’m sure at this stage you all have your work packs to keep you busy and I’ve also attached the link for this week’s Remote learning. Again, please remember, you don’t have to get all the work done – just do what you can. 🙂
I’m online every day during school hours so please, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or just want to check in.
Take care and talk soon,
Ms O Donnell.

Find attached below, the link for the remote learning plan for Junior infants for week one.
Please, pick and choose the activities that suit best and I would love to hear some feedback of what is working well / not so well.
I would be delighted to receive some picture of the wonderful work your children complete.
If you have any questions or comments, my email address is email@example.com

Following the announcement that schools will be switching to remote learning once again, I will be using this platform to post activities and suggested work each Monday.
When you all receive your packs, I will be including work from the text books, coloring books and writing copies but for this week until we get up and running, I have just sent links to online sites and tried to come up with activities that include things you would have at home.
Please remember these are only suggested activities and you should be under no pressure at all to complete all the work set, as we fully understand that this is a stressful time for all families.
Our focus is on the well-being of the children at this time but I’m hoping some of these activities might be useful.
Again, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or you would like to share pictures of the work your child is doing at home.
Take care and stay safe,
Ms. O’ Donnell
