Week 3 Distance Learning
Good morning boys and girls,
Another week done and dusted – well done! Having talked to your moms and dad and family last week, I know that you’re all working away at home on your packs which I’m delighted to hear – I would love to see some of your work, so if you want to send me pictures of some of your work, you can send them to email@example.com.
I’ve added a few more bits to the Google Classroom this week for you to have a look at so I’m linking it here again: https://classroom.google.com/c/MjIwODcwMTgzNTM4?cjc=7rjgxgj
I know things are all a little uncertain at the minute, so keep doing what you’re doing and get a bit done every day. If you have any questions at all, please do get in touch, and once we know what things will look like next week, I will be in contact.
Have a great week and stay safe!
Week 2 Distance Learning
Hello First Class B,
I hope you’re all doing well – we’ve made it to Week 2!
Thank you to everyone for their great work during the week. This week, I’ve decided to keep work to Google Classroom as I know that most of you have your packs by now. I would encourage you to join the Google Classroom, just as a way of keeping in touch and connecting, so I’ve included the link here in case it’s gone astray: https://classroom.google.com/c/MjIwODcwMTgzNTM4?cjc=7rjgxgj
I also want to say thank you to the parents who filled out the survery I had sent on Friday – I’ve added a few more activities to the Google Classroom as requested and if you’d like anything else, please do get in touch 🙂
Well done on getting through last week, I know that it’s difficult. Remember, you don’t have to get all the work done – a little each day will be enough 🙂 I would love to see some of the work you’ve been doing in your packs, so if you could send pictures of them to my email (firstname.lastname@example.org) I can give you some feedback.
If you have any questions at all, please do get in touch, and I look forward to checking in with you all over the next few days.
Week 1 Distance Learning
I hope that you and your families are doing okay in this crazy time and that you’re keeping yourself busy at home. I’m so sad that we couldn’t start our new term together in school, but am really looking forward to when we can be back in our classroom again!
I will be posting work here each day for you to do – this same work can be found on our Google Classroom (https://classroom.google.com/c/MjIwODcwMTgzNTM4?cjc=7rjgxgj) and on the Facebook profile I set up for your moms and dads to join.
You should try and get some Literacy and Maths done each day but please don’t worry about getting it all done – doing a little each day will be better than nothing 🙂 When you have any work done, you can send pictures of it to me and I can give you some feedback. I’m already looking forward to seeing your work! I will be online between 9am and 4pm, but you can submit work whenever you can.
Don’t forget to get outside everyday for some fresh air and to move your body – or if you can’t get outside, you can check out Joe Wicks’ workouts on his Youtube: just search Joe Wicks Kids Workouts to Do at Home.
MOST IMPORTANTLY don’t worry about not getting everything done – I know that you all try your best in school and I know you’ll try your best at home too 🙂
If you have any questions at all, moms and dads and guardians can reach me at email@example.com.
I can’t wait to see you again, and please remember to stay safe.
Merry Christmas everyone!
I realise we haven’t been very active on this page this term, but that’s not to say that we haven’t been very busy. The boys and girls have been doing really great work, from sight word practice, to counting to learning about The North and South Poles and even writing their own song in Music! We’ve had a visit from Santa, taken a Beep Beep Walk around Inchicore and have done lots and lots of Art, which you’ve probably seen at home.
We promise to update this more in the new year but for now, we wish you a Merry Christmas with our holiday twist on The Gingerbread Man.
Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday 🙂
