Christmas Visitor 🎄🎅🤶

Edward the Elf visited 2nd Class this Christmas, what a treat! He watched us each day and reported back to Santa Claus each night. According to Edward, Santa was very impressed with 2nd Class all year. Edward has to isolate for 2-weeks when he first arrived due to Covid-19!!!

Science Week 2020

The class favourite from Science Week was the Rainbow Skittles Experiment. We predicted what might happen when we poured the warm water over the skittles. Everyone predicted that the colouring from the skittles would mix with the water!

Volcanos

2nd Class made some very cool volcanos this year!

First, we made a frame of the volcano using tape, an empty bottle of water, newspaper, PVA glue and cardboard as a base.

Once the newspaper was dry, we painted the volcanos. It was a little bit messy, but lots of fun!

Finally, we went outside with our volcanos. We poured bicarbonate of soda, food colouring and malt vinegar into our volcanos and they ERUPTED!  It was very exciting.
