We are so lucky to work closely with Richmond Barracks, as through our work with them last year and with some support from Dublin city council, our school has won a large grant to continue our work on the ‘Stories from the Garrison’ project. Mr. Dillons class will be working on it for around 22 weeks adn we look forward to hearing all about it.
The Diversity Committee have come up with the wonderful idea of learning Hello, Goodbye & Thank You in a variety of languages. We are going to start with Romanian for the remainder of January. Our school had four teams participating in the Credit Union Quiz(Inchicore/Ballyfermot district) on Friday 26th of January. They practiced so hard both at school and at school and they were a credit to our school with their positive attitudes and excellent behaviour. Well done to all!👏👏🤓
Junior Infants have been working very hard since coming back to school after the Christmas break and as a treat we made cupcakes today. The children were very busy weighing ingredients, mixing them together and adding the mixture into bun cases. Zumba for parents starts back on Wednesday January 17th in the hall 9:30-10:30. This is the best craic and a super fun way to kick start those new years fitness resoultions.
This is a group for parents that is being set up for all parents to share their parenting experiences with each other and parents can learn from each other. This is really useful if there are some problems with behaviour you are encountering at home and you can learn some really good tips and tricks without any judgement.
