The boys and girls in 1st class were very lucky to be chosen to take part in the Sow and Grow campaign this year. The children were involved in planting and looking after their very own cress, baby carrots and runner beans. The children had great fun and enjoyed learning all about sowing and growing their plants in class. 🙂
Our beautiful old Cherry Blossom trees are almost in full bloom. This is a wonderful sight and its a pity we wont be in school to see it. We hope there will be some blossoms left when we come back from our Easter holidays.
Our Green-fingered pupils were very busy today in the Garden Club. Today they were working on the vegetable patch and they planted out the first of the vegetables. They planted down some seed potatoes which they had chitted. This was very exciting as we were delighted and surprised by our potato crop last year.
