Ms O’Dwyer’s new Junior Infants had a fantastic first day at school! While some children and mums and dads were emotional at first all of the children settled in well and got stuck into playing and making new friends! Our Junior Infants enjoyed a fantastic day at Wooly Wards farm today. The children learned lots about life on the farm and they met lots of animals such as goats, lambs, hens, ponies and calves. Our running club has been very poplular this year and the children are all really enjoying getting out running the canal at lunch time and getting fit and healthy too. Santa took some time out of his busy schedule on Monday to come and visit the Junior Infants in OLOL! The children were all delighted to see him and they sang some Christmas songs too! Santa told the children that they must continue working really hard and behave well and he will be calling to their homes on Christmas Eve!
We were very lucky this morning to be able to go on our ‘Beep Beep Walk’ around Inchicore. We have learned lots about road safety and we got to meet some of the Gardaí who help us in Inchicore. We all had a great time!
The Junior Infants in room 2 have been settling in really well into school. The have made lots of new friends and have been working really hard.
