Lego Workshop

Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First class children took part in a Lego Workshop. The young engineers had a task of building skyscrapers. The children had to work in groups and had to design and build a skyscraper that would survive the earthquake test. They all did a great job!

4th class trip to Kilmainham jail

4th class paid a visit to Kilmainham jail on Friday last. They had a very informative tour of the jail and they were all fascinated by its history.  They visited the chapel where Thomas Clarke married G race Giffor d before his execution, they visit the stone breakers yard, they saw some cells and saw where the 1916 leaders were executed.      

5th class trip to ‘The Dock’ with Junior Achievement.

We have finished our 6week block of Junior Achievement with Aga and Adrian.. The coordinators invited us in to The Dock building at Grand Canal. The Dock is a design led multi disciplinary research and development hub. Designers  developers and experts in artificial intelligence, security  mixed reality Internet of things all work here to investigate  imagine and bring new ideas to life. It is a Continue Reading
