Our Junior Infants enjoyed a fantastic day at Wooly Wards farm today. The children learned lots about life on the farm and they met lots of animals such as goats, lambs, hens, ponies and calves. 5th class went to Tayto Park yesterday. They had such fun looking at all of the animals and riding on all of the roller coasters. some children were a little scared to go on the big roller coaster, but the concurred their fears and were very proud of themselves.
This is a conference for parents of a child in primary school and that wants them to have the opportunity to reach their full educational potential. Speakers will include experts in the area of education and parental involvement from Ireland and the Netherlands. Take a look at this flyer!
The children have been having lots of fun and have been very busy with the OLOLympics. Last week the children competed against their teachers in a game of dodgeball. The teachers were victorious winning four games and the children won three games. Well done to Mr. Dillon and other staff members for organising another great event.
The Sam Maguire Cup paid a visit to OLOL last week. Each class had the opportunity to get a photo.
The members of the gardening club went to the Bloom festival on Friday June 1st. This was being held in the Phoenix Park and they had a great day looking at all of the beautiful displays and tasting all of the delicious food.
