The Garden Club resumed their work today after a winter break. We began by surveying the area and checking on what new growth we could see and we made a list of jobs beeding to be done.
We ckeared the beds of leaves and we coyld see daffodils and bluebell leaves growing underneath. Snowdrops and crocuses had already appeared and buds were growing on all the trees.
We began clearing some of the weeds in the vegetable patches, getting them ready for pur potatoes, carrotts etc.
We planted our broad beans too in a nice sunny spot beside our winter beans which are growing nicely.
