I have to say we have bee n so impressed with all the work our Garden club has been doing. We really enjoyed our trip to the Botanical Gardens. We got to see lots of amazing sculptures and nature. The children wrote a letter and sent it home to tell you all about it. It’s on its way in the post!

We were very lucky this morning to be able to go on our ‘Beep Beep Walk’ around Inchicore. We have learned lots about road safety and we got to meet some of the Gardaí who help us in Inchicore. We all had a great time!
3rd class have been taking part in the ‘Creativity in the Classroom’ workshop and were working with clay in groups to create a zoo, jungle and circus.

Ms. Higgins’ 2nd Class were working hard on recount writing in the month of September. They decided to write and send letters home to recount what has happened in 2nd Class so far!
We have had a very busy few weeks settling into junior infants. We are becoming readers, writers, artists and team players. We are having fun while doing it too. We have been on a lovely Autumn walk looking at all the lovely colourful leaves and trying to catch a glimpse of the squirrel that lives out the back of our school.
We have been learning about squirrels in Ms. Cusack’s class. We looked at pictures of squirrels and made some using marla.
