GAA blitz in Liffey Gaels

We had a fantastic football blitz in Liffey Gaels GAS grounds on Friday 2nd of June! Children from 3rd to 6th class were playing a GAA blitz. We were working hard on perfecting our football skills during the week as part of our OLOLYMPICS that is taking place until the summer holidays. Mr Dillon organised the children into different teams with boys and girls from a mix of classes. We were really lucky to have Aoife and Seán, two fantastic referees to help us on the day. All teams showed great team spirit throughout the games and really enjoyed the day. The teams were given the names of some counties in Ireland. The teams that were lucky enough to make it to the finals were Tyrone V Kerry and Clare V Donegal. These were two great matches. Kerry and  Donegal were victorious! Congratulations to all that took part. A big thank    you to Mr.Dillon for organising a fantastic day!
