Inchicore Cup

Our boys and girls football teams did really well this year but unfortunately didn’t reach this years finals. Many thanks to Carambola who sponsored the competition this year. Well done to Kevin Sotunde and Kaina Mckengo who were our players of the season . (pictures to follow)  

‘Junior Achievers’ in first class!!!

Ms. O’ Donnell’s first class were delighted to be chosen to take part in the Junior Achievement programme this year. Junior Achievement brings business volunteers into the classroom to teach enterprise skills to young people. Teddy Bears’ Picnic

On Wednesday June 14th Ms. McLoughlin’s class brought their teddies to the playground on Grattan Crescent. We practiced crossing the roads safely. Raising of our 5th Green Flag

Ms. Bartons Green Team were able to present their project to us and raise our new green flag. This is a flag for Biodiversity. Our school is a wonderful natural environment. We have hedgerows, flowers for bees and butterflies, a wormery to compost left over fruit some bug hotels for bugs to hibernate in. Junior Infant School Tour

On Tuesday May 30th Junior Infants enjoyed a wonderful day out at Lullymore Heritage Park. The children had a train ride, visited a fairy village, pet farm and indoor and outdoor play areas. So we were not surprised when they all fell asleep on the bus home. Have a look at some pictures from our day.

Senior Infants School Tour

Last Wednesday our class went on their school tour with Ms Merry’s class to Imaginosity in Sandyford. First we had lots of fun playing on the rooftop garden and then when we went inside we became newsreaders, builders, mechanics, chefs and actors and actresses. Garden club cooks

Today some members of the garden club got to cook some of their produce.  We gathered some Elderflower to make Elderflower Cordial. We collected Gooseberries to make Gooseberry jam and then we made garlic butter first garlic bread. We made those 3 things in 40 minutes. It’s so easy and everything tasted delicious. We hope to do more cooking next week 😊

Senior Infants school tour- Our Lady of Lourdes NS

We had such a brilliant day on our school tour today. We went to Imaginosity and to Tymon park(Templeogue). We went to Imaginosity first and had great fun going between levels on the climber, we dressed up, played around the village downstairs and we built lots of interesting things. It is great fun here. Bloom Garden Festival

The Garden Club had a wonderful day out at Bloom Garden Festival today. We were blessed with beautiful weather and the children were very excited.  We visited the food stalls where we sampled lots of delicious Irish food.We then visited some show gardens and the educational area.
